JAMMU: Adjoining renowned restaurant on National Highway Narwal, the owner of plot has undertaken illegal construction in connivance with Khilafarzi inspector of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
The owner of plot who is reported to be a retired SSP from Jammu and Kashmir Police has already constructed a commercial structure housing an agency of Hero Handa, allegedly a resident of Sunjawan on condition of anonymity adding with an attempt to further extends the building has started fresh construction in clandestine manner.
To verify the allegations, JKGN team visited the site and found the illegal construction was goin on.
Without disclosing his identity a person residing nearby area said “The structure is being constructed without approved plan as we have personally discussed the matter with Khilafarzi inspector with an assurance of full cooperation in completion of this structure without any action”.
Sources in JMC disclosed that entire building along with fresh construction which is standing in the said plot is illegal and thus need to s be sealed or demolish under BOCA law.
