    JSCL organizes cycle rally on ‘World Bicycle Day’

    JAMMU : Jammu City residents from all walks of life including women and children on Friday took part in a 10-KM public bicycle rally organised by Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) to mark ‘World Bicycle Day’.
    The ‘Cyclothon’ was flagged off by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor Chandar Mohan Gupta along with Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar and Chief Executive Officer, JSCL, Rahul Yadav from Kala Kendra, Jammu.
    Deputy Mayor Advocate Purnima Sharma; Additional CEO, JSCL, Hitesh Gupta; TO to CEO S L Kapoor; General Manager, Civil Harvinder Singh; General Manager, Ashish Anand and JMC councillors Dinesh Gupta and Amit Gupta were also present on the occasion.
    The rally was part of the Union Government’s initiative to encourage people towards cycling and was organised in consultation with Smart City Mission, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) and Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
