Peddler arrested by PS Nowabad, heroin recovered
Jammu: Immediately after taking charge of Nowabad police station, Inspector Bimla Indu today arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin from his possession.
According to report, joint police party of District Special Branch, Jammu and PS Nowabad, led by SHO, Insp Bimal Indu, while on duty at JP Chowk, apprehended a person, namely, Mubarakh Masi, s/o Chanchal Masi , R/o Batala Punjab. On search, 5 gm of heroin like substance were recovered from his possession.
In this regard, FIR No. 89/2019 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Nowabad and investigation is underway.
