JAMMU: Probing the dropping of weapons, narcotics and cash in Marheen area of Kathua in Jammu region, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided several districts of Jammu and Kashmir and carried for search operation.
As per sources in NIA, the searches are being conducted in Doda, Kishtwar, Kathua, Samba, Srinagar and Jammu.The handlers operating from across the border, the drones carried 22 sorties in Marheen areas of Kathua and drop large number of weapons, narcotics as well as cash. The OGWs mostly residing in kullas in the area picked up these consignments for further distribution among the militants for carrying anti-national activities in the region, says sources.
