JAMMU: The district police Jammu have booked self styled social activist turned notorious criminal Nazakat Ali Khatana S/o Mohd Sharief R/o Doda Basti Belicharana under Public Safety Act and send him to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
The arrested accused is involved in a series of criminal activities and series of FIRs were lodged against him at different police jurisdictions in number of cases which includes FIR No 29/13 U/s 451/323/354/34 RPC dated 05-06-2013 of PS Satwari. FIR No 210/2017 U/s 341/323/353/147 RPC dated 14-11-2017 of PS Gandhi Nagar. FIR No 14/2018 U/s 307/341/147/148/149/153/353/332 RPC dated 21-01-2018 of PS Hiranagar. FIR No 51/2021 U/s 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act dated 09-05-2021 of PS Chanderkote. FIR No 52/2021 U/s 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act dated 09-05-2021 of PS Chanderkote. FIR No 53/2021 U/s 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act dated 09-05-2021 of PS Chanderkote. FIR No 227/2018 U/s 307/341/323/332/353/147/148/149 RPC date 22-12-2018 of PS Satwari. The detention warrant was issued by DM Jammu, Anshul Garg under section 8(1)(a) JK Public Safety Act, 1978. Finally detention warrant got executed by SHO Police Station, Satwari, Inspector Deepak Jasrotia and accused has been shifted to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
