JAMMU: The protest demonstration of beleaguered Patwaris to coerced LG administration for release of their tainted colleagues who are cooling their heels in Jail came under sharp criticism from the general public who trolled field functionary of Revenue Department on social media with all sorts of choicest abuses and comments.

Offended by the nonsense utterances of protesting Patwaris against the widely appreciated move of administration and police against black sheep of Revenue department and their land grabbers associates, the Jammuites flooded the facebook with messages which shows quantum of anger existing among public against the corrupt Patwaris.

Praising loudly the bold move of administration for launching first ever crackdown on land mafia and their well wishers in Revenue Department, the public through the medium of social media have sent loud and clear message to the Government “Shows no mercy to the corrupt Patwaris who were hand in gloves with the land grabbers and shady developers of illegal colonies”.

Reacting to the nonsense utterance of Raman raj Sharma office bearer of Patwar Association against the Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Raghav Langar as well as District Magistrate, Jammu, Anshul Garg besides several IAS officers, one of the netizen namely Ashish Khanna while urging LG Manoj Sinha to order investigation into disproportionate assets of Patwaris which they amassed over the years by fleecing gullible public said “This is a old blackmailing tactics and Govt should not pay heed to a section of dishonest employees who have turn Revenue Deptt as their personal fiefdom”.

“This protest is basically the handiwork of land grabbers, political sharks on whose behest the revenue records of Chowadhi and Sunjawan were disappeared as part of a well organized conspiracy”, a social media user commented.

Fearing tightening of noose around their neck now they are organizing protests to scuttle investigation which is all set to spill beans about the nexus involved in grabbing large chunk of government land worth billions of market value.

“These protesting Patwari are still living in article 370 fool’s paradises where their political lords used to shield them. Yeh sab chor Hein. Dismiss all of them from service, comments another facebook user. Yeh har eik marla land kei farad ka Rs 10,000 leitein hein, Jinghalala kar dou inka, comments a Facebook user.

Branding the protest of Patwaris as an open act of rebellion, another net user said “This is an uncalled protest and a clear evidence of frustration prevailing among them due to the revolutionary steps undertaken by the government to simplify Revenue related works for the welfare of common citizens” Yeh sab transparency kei bumboo sei chila rahein hein. Grill them more by eradicating the complex language of urdu from revenue department” comments another angry citizen.

Most of the messages were critical of the corrupt working of Patwaris and lashed out at Patwar Association for resorting to blackmailing tactics to secure release of their alleged corrupt colleagues, a section of net users demanded arrest of all those Tehsildars and Patwaris during whose periods state land was openly encroached by colonizers for effecting demographic change in Sunjawan and Chowadhi in last 25 years.

JK Global News Take: Thousands of comments, all had a similar pattern of expressing outbursts against the Patwaris attributes to gigantic simmering discontent prevailing among public against the field functionary of Revenue Department. The government must consider these comments of netizens as genuine feedback from citizens and launch operation ‘Shudikaran’ on priority to end rampant corruption prevailing in Revenue Department. Terminating use of Urdu as well as mystic and cryptic words in working of Revenue Deptt which are aliens to Aam Admi and oozing point of corruption as well as land irregularities will indeed strengthen Naya Dhour of transparency and accountability undertaken by visionary PM Shri. Narendra Modi for holistic growth of everyone in Union Territory of J&K. Task is cumbersome but not impossible –Jou Bheech Mein Ayeii Useiy Ragad Dhou with rod of law.
