Bhopal: In a case disproportionate wealth case, the Madhya Pradesh police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has recovered Rs 85 lakh and gold ornaments worth several lakh from the house of a clerk in Bhopal who owned property worth Rs 4 crore. The team has also recovered incriminating documents that reveal the trail of property worth crores.
Frustrated over the raid, the man, identified as Hero Keswani, made abortive bid to end his life by consuming consumed bathroom cleaner. As per reports, Keswani earns Rs 50,000 per month. A note-counting machine had to be brought in to count the pile of cash stashed in the house.
