JAMMU: Grand Hill to Tiffin Hut- all the restaurants and bussiness establishments which were identified by the office of District Commissioner, Jammu as unauthorised structures raised on state land were finally sealed by the Building Operation Control Authority of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
The orders for sealing of identified structures were issued by the Commissioner, JMC Avny Lavasa in exercise of power conferred u/s 330 of J&K MC Act,2000 and by invoking section 8(1) of J&K BOCA 1988.
The office of District Magistrate, Jammu vide No DCJ/SQ/Illegal-Encr-Sidhara/2020-21/3332-37 Dated 21/2/2021 has forward a list to JMC containing 32 bussiness establishments and structures which were constructed along National Highway from Ragoora-Mahamaya Road upto Sidhara on state land.
The JMC authorities in scrutiny find all these structures as constructed in contravention of BOCA and subsequently sealed them.
The commercial structures which were sealed includes Grand Hill Restaurant, Mad Glad, 3 Good Guy, Landscape, Orange, Dill 16, Tomorrow Land, PitStop, Tiffin Hut besides 23 structures.
