    MAM College NCC cadets paid tributes to Jallianwala Martyrs

    JAMMU: Remembering the priceless sacrifices of thousands of martyrs towards freedom struggle on April 13, 1919, the NCC cadets of Unit 2 J&K Boyd Bn of Govt. MAM (PG) College today paid tributes to the martyrs of Jalianwala Bagh massacre.

    The cadets paid obeisance to the brave martyred under the able leadership of Principal Prof Sunil Uppal and supervision of Maj. Dr. Karan Singh, Earlier Cadets took the march pass parade to Balidaan Stambh and later at M. A. M. College and lit the candles and laid floral tribute to the martyrs.

    On this occasion Commanding Officer Colonel Surjeet Singh was the Chief Guest who infused sense of Nationalism and Patriotism among the cadets Maj. Karan Singh read the vote of thanks. Lt. Rohit Sharma ANO and Prof. Sanjay Singh were also present at the occasion. Prof Sanjay was the special speaker at the occasion and motivated the youth to join the Armed Forces, Lt Rohit Sharma lauded the martyrs for their supreme sacrifice and encouraged them with moral values.
