JAMMU: Moving a miles ahead from the throne of Raj Bhawan, LG Manoj Sinha today straight walk into the city Residency Road and Heritage Raghunath market and interact with traders to take stock of the hurdles being faced by them in the bussiness activities.
While strolling through the market Sinha interacted with traders association of Raghunath Bazar, Residency Road and Kanak Mandi and enquired about the difficulties being faced by the people and the business community especially amidst pandemic.
Terming people’s feedback as imperative for accountable and responsive administration, the Sinha urged the people to come forward with their issues and grievances and play an active role in the development process by providing regular feedback on the working of the Administration.
The locals and the business community appreciated the people friendly approach of the Manoj Sinha and lauded his initiatives for reaching out to the people of every nook and corner of the UT and taking first hand appraisal of their issues and grievances.
They put forth demands which included beautification of Jammu City, timely completion of Mega Projects and expected early completion of various developmental projects to uplift the tourism in the region which is the backbone of bussiness in the region.
The LG reiterated that government is committed to resolve the grievances of the people through an effective public redressal system and assured them that all their genuine issues and demands will be addressed on merit.
The LG also visited the Raghunath, Ranbireshwar & Panjbakhtar temple and prayed for peace, progress, and prosperity in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
He was accompanied by Senior civil and police functionaries during the visit.
