Jammu: The anarchy in Jammu Municipal Corporation can well understand from the fact that its lone ‘Sales Counter’ located at the ground floor is encroached upon by the VIP car allotted to its Commissioner.
This has resulted in burgeoning problems for visitors who step into the JMC complex in hundreds on daily basis pertaining to sales related issues.
Improper parking of VIP vehicle has eclipsed the sales counter due to which the visitors have to face lots of problems in locating the same.
“Encroachment of front desk itself reflects complete absence of discipline in the JMC” rued Sohan Lal who had to shuttle from top to bottom of JMC complex merely to find exact location of its sales counter.
In fact, parking of vehicles in haphazard manner shows the myopic vision of the officers sitting at the helm of affairs who have so far failed to find any compatible solution to this great mess existing on the ground floor of its complex.
Gross indiscipline in improper parking due to insufficient space has become the hall mark of JMC, asserted one officer.
Strangely, the authority has focused its entire men and mind towards construction related issues without any praise worthy results, added sources.
On daily basis, Mayor to Commissioner passed through this mess but yet, no one care to find any futuristic plan to this avoidable disorder in the JMC complex which housed the office of its Mayor as well as Commissioner.
