    Massive crowd turns up for funeral prayers of slain Rafiabad cop

    Srinagar: Thousands of people across Rafiabad on Tuesday attended the last rites of slain cop of Wohlutra Panzala area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

    Reports said that thousands of mourners across Rafiabad, including men, women and elderly, assembled in Wohlutra Rafiabad native village of one of the cop Ghulam Hassan Wagay who along with other cop Ghulam Rasool Lone of Gayal lolab Kupwara was killed in a militant attack in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday night.

    Amid slogans Wagay was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard, reports said.

    Wagay was killed along with other cop of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district after a group of militants attacked the police post guarding a new court complex at Takiya Wagam in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district during last Monday. The militants also managed to take away two INSAS service rifles of the slain cops
