New Delhi: BJP MP Prahlad Joshi on Friday has issued a notice for privilege motion against Congress President Rahul Gandhi during the discussion of the no-confidence motion.
Accusing the Congress president of making ‘serious, baseless and wild allegations’ against the government, particularly against PM Narendra Modi regarding the Rafele deal, Joshi said that the statements were misleading.
Earlier, a number of BJP leaders critcised the Congress president for his speech, which was, however, praised by members of the ‘united opposition’
Gandhi on Friday raised the controversial Rafale deal in Parliament while accusing Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman of lying to the nation quoting the ‘secrecy clause’ in the pact.
