ISLAMABAD : The Chief Justice of Pakistan Supreme Court prior to significant verdict which has boosted the morale of civilians protesting on roads for freedom from rogue army,  has welcomed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, saying “Happy to see you!”. The CJ also praises Khan for his honest leadership.

Imran Khan was produced before a three-judge bench that comprised of Chief Justice Umar Ata  Bandial, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Athar Minallah. Casting the police for undermining the democratic setup, the SC termed Imran Khan arrest as “illegal” and ordered his immediate release.

Khan is the seventh former PM of Pakistan who was arrested, however,  Khan is the lone former PM whose arrest has evoked mass violent protests in nook and corner of the country and direct confrontation of angry citizens with Pakistan Army on large scale.
