JAMMU : The court here has directed the SSP, Crime Branch Jammu to investigate allegations against officer/officials of SAMAGRA Shiksha, J&K for irregularities in tendering for purchase of items worth crores through favourable firms.
While passing the order, the Special Railway Magistrate, Jammu, Rajeev Kumar Tadyal also directed the Commissioner-Secretary, School Education Department, J&K UT to file a report containing the facts and circumstances of the incident alleged in the application by the complainant against Coordinator SAMAGRA Shiksha Abhiyan, Jammu namely Ajit Sharma.
The order was passed in an application filed by Raj Kumar wherein the applicant requested the court for direction to DGP, Crime, J&K UT, SSP, Crime Branch, Jammu and SHO police station, CBJ for loding FIR under relevant sections of law against Ajit Sharma and others for alleged massive bunglings in purchase of items worth several crores.
The applicant has approached court for necessary directions to the non applicants – DGP, Crime and SSP, CBJ as the repeated requests of complainant for investigation into large scale irregularities as well as purchase of items worth crores without tenders in SAMAGRA Shiksha Abhiyan fallen deaf on the ears of CBJ.
