JAMMU : Principal Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu , Dr. Shashi Sharma has been booked by Crime Branch Jammu (CBJ) for tampering her date of birth (DoB) for securing medical seat and subsequent selection as Assistant Surgeon in Health and Medical Education Department.
As per available reports, the CB initiated enquiry on a complaint lodged by Manu Gupta r/o 1-B, Sector I-A, Channi Himmat (Jammu) and during the course of preliminary enquiry it was established that accused Dr. Shashi Sharma daughter of Sham Lal Sudan wife of Dr. Sudesh Chander Sharma A/P House No. 26-A Bakshi Nagar Jammu, in a criminal conspiracy used her two DoB i.e. 08.04.1964 and 08.04.1965 to cheat government. Further, she also procured her PAN and Adhaar card using tampered DoB. On the findings of PE, a case FIR Number 0057 u/s 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120B RPC dated 01-07-2023 registered against Dr Shashi Sudhan Sharma in Police Station Economic Offence Wing Crime Branch Jammu.
