Jammu: In an endeavor to infuse confidence among students at early stages of their life, the department of education has taken an initiative of organizing interaction of students with gallantry award winners as well as arranging visits to the houses of martyrs.
As part of this unique move, today a group of three teachers along with six students of government higher secondary school visited residence of Col Sushil Pathania, Shaurya Chakar and President Sainik Samaj Party Jammu.
Interacting with students and teachers Col Pathania share detail account about army personnels life and the glory associated with this most dignified profession.
While welcoming the move of education department, Col Pathania said that such initiative will provide students insight about the life of Martyrs families who despite sacrificing their dear ones still living life with pride, satiation and without any regret. This will help increase confidence level, sense of pride as nation first among young students, Col Pathania said.
This is a small beginning where students at tender stage will motivated to keep aside self interest before nation service which is need of the hour to strengthen the country, he added
He also urged the education authorities as well as schools managements to keep organize such programmes on larger inviting Gallantry award winners to the school where larger audience is benefited.
