    Fearless burglars looted Rs 1 crore from HDFC Bank

    KATHUA: Flamboyant over slackness of police to curb growing cases of thefts, the burglars on the intervening night of Monday broke open locks of HDFC Bank branch at Hatli Morh area of Kathua and decamped with cash worth crores.

    As per available reports, the burglars managed to reach upto cash chest and decamped with nearly Rs one crore.

    They left some amount in safe whereas a portion of looted amount was left behind on rooftop of bank. The missing amount is estimated to be Rs 1 crore.

    The police has registered the case and started investigation to trace out the burglars.
