JAMMU: FIR has been registered against the Principal Hema and Vice Principal Lima of St Mary’s Presentation Convent School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Police sources in Gandhi Nagar Police Station disclosed that case has been registered on the findings of an enquiry ordered by District Magistrate, Jammu Anshul Garh to ascertain the circumstances leading to the death of a school music teacher namely Neelu Virender on 9th May, 2021.
Principal is squarely responsible for death of as she coerced deceased Music Teacher to attend school knowingly well she’s COVID infected
The case was registered for willful violation of DM order, coercion and endangering lives of school teachers amid pandemic and shut down of all types of educational institutes in J&K.
It’s worth to mentioned here that the parents of deceased Music teacher has levelled serious allegations against the Principal as well as Vice Principal of Presentation Convent School, Jammu for coercing and threatening her to attend school despite the fact that she was suffering from deadly coronavirus infection and was under home quarantine at home. ,
Both the Principal and Vice Principal were booked under cognizable offences, said Police sources. No arrests were made till the filling of this news item.
