SAMBA: Department of Geography, government degree college, Hiranagar organised a three day socio-economic survey trip to villages-Arjun chak,Tokal and phulapur on under the guidance Prof. Namrata Chowdhary, HoD, Geography, Prof. Tammna Rajput, Dr. Bhupinder singh, Mehkash Bharti, Assistant Professor also accompanied the trip.
Total 89 students took part in it where they observed the settlement pattern and vegetation type of area. They surveyed nearly 90 households and interacted with the villagers and collected data.
The survey conducted successfully under the vision of Dr. Pragya Khanna, Principal, GLDMDC ,Hiranagar.
