Irked over denial of favour, Newspaper strewns garbage against officer

    By JKGN staff

Jammu: Personal vendetta and absence of quality substance becomes the hallmark of several newspapers which are adding to the burgeoning list with funny titles

Claiming to be leading within a month of its launch there are plenty of such newspapers which boost of circulation in severeral thousands but aren’t traceable in the market even with the best use of huble telescope.

Recently a newspaper which boosts of its wide public reach has launched tirade against a senior KAS officer who also served as Vice Chairman of JDA in the past. This all happened as the said officer refused to oblige a retired XEN with 16 Marla land in favour of his wife at Birpur.

Sources revealed that Poonam Gupta wife of Rajesh Gupta retd Xen who was dismissed as deadwood by the Government has purchased 3 Kanal land from a private party in Birpur adjoining JDA housing Colony.

However when the process for documentation of said land begins it turns out to be just 2 Kanal 4 Marla as per revenue records.

Instead of questioning the person from whom Rajesh’s wife had bought the land, the later started exerting influence of family run media on JDA for alienation of 16 Marla land which as per demarcation is JDA land.

When repeated attempts failed, the newsportal as well as newspaper owned by Rajesh’s elder son start publishing all sorts of shit against the then VC JDA despite also threatening the officer on phone of dire consequences, said an officer posted in Revenue Deptt preferring anonymity.

How can a piece of land that is enter in Revenue record as JDA land can be given to Rajesh’s wife, said an officer preferring anonymity.

Even if someone owns a newspaper agency how he can use it as a weapon to blackmail us, said another officer preferring anonymity.

It’s worth mentioning here that Rajesh Gupta had joined the agriculture department as Gobar gas supervisor later he scaled surprising heights in government departments with plum postings.

However, his glorious time got a jolt when he was ousted from government job as dead wood. Later, he got relief from court which reinstated his service but prior to that he attained the age of supernation in deadwood duration.
