In a major breakthrough against entrenched narcotics trafficking, Miran Sahib police have arrested Lau Gujjar, one of the most elusive and dreaded drug syndicate operators in the region.
Known for running an extensive drug network across parts of Jammu region, Gujjar had long been on the radar of law enforcement agencies but managed to evade police cordon through a well-organized nexus.
Reliable sources in police said, “For the past several week, the police through an organized network of human intelligence has been keeping a close surveillance on his movement which led to the arrest of Gujjar from his village waziruchak”.
Gujjar’s criminal trail includes multiple cases of drug peddling, intimidation, and violent assaults. He is also accused of orchestrating murderous attacks on police teams during past operations, making him a high-risk offender.
