Jammu: Terming the murder of a young boy in Tehsil Bhillawar of district Kathua as unfortunate, Nazakat Khatana has said that this broad day murder of a young youth by fearless accused has caused a severe blow to the peace endeavors aimed at restoring peace and brotherhood in the area which has been polarized over the gangrape cum murder of an eight year old nomadic girl at Raisana village in Hiranagar
Talking to the media in a press conference today Ch. Khatana, state president Gujjar Bakarwal Desh Tehreek-e-Insaaf, Jammu said “College student Liyakat Ali son of Munir Hussein, a resident of Dher Phinter Billawar of Kathua District was murdered with sharp edged weapons in a well planned conspiracy by two persons namely Abhishek Sharma son of Ramakant resident of Nowshera in Mahanpur and Honey Khajuria son of Ram Parkash resident of Dher in Billawar”.
While condemning this gruesome incident, Khatana said that the community is not going to tolerate such incidents which aimed targeting the particular section of a community.
Stating that it’s a matter of urgent concern where the state administration needs to intervene and investigate the hidden agenda of vested elements so that justice may be done with aggrieved family, he added “Being human we must respect humanity, human values, respect every community without any discrimination”
Further he stated that in order to express solidarity with the victim and impressed the authorities for fair investigation in this gruesome murder, a peaceful protest against the culprits of Liaqat Ali and innocent Asifa will be held in Jammu region on Friday
