Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today attacked Opposition for “indulging in caste-based politics” and ignoring the development of Karnataka. ” We are contesting Karnataka Assembly elections on the development agenda, while opposition refuses to talk about development,” Modi said.
PM Modi was interacting with the Karnataka faction of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today morning in poll-bound Karnataka via the Namo app.
Narendra Modi alleged that opposition parties have been indulging in caste-based politics. “If you analyse last few elections, you will realise how a few political parties have indulged only in dividing societies on religious lines,” he said.
PM Modi asked all men and women of the party to put in their efforts to help BJP Win Karnataka Assembly elections 2018. “There is one aspect on which they can never defeat us, that is our power as a party and the power of the party’s youth force,” said Modi.
Prime Minister asked BJP party workers not to pay attention to the “rampant lying propaganda of Congress after a series of defeats in elections”.
“karyakartas must stand their ground, expose lies of Congress and also fight their means of deceiving people by hiring foreign agencies,” he added.
PM said that since the nomination process has now ended for Karnataka election, all party members and candidates should reach out to every resident of the state to listen to their grievances.
