New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to release admit cards for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Exam (NEET) this week. The admit cards were earlier scheduled to be released in the second week of April. The NEET exam of 2018 is scheduled to take place May 6 at 10 am.

According to sources, the admit cards will be released on Wednesday, April 18. The CBSE tech team could not complete the testing of NEET admit card release on website as it was a Gazetted Holiday on Saturday due to Ambedkar Jayanti. However, it is being reported that the testing and the other formalities will be completed by Tuesday or Wednesday.

The NEET is an entrance exam that is conducted for students who want to pursue a graduation in medical course like MBBS, dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course like (MD/MS) — in government or private medical colleges in India.

The admit cards will not be sent to candidates through post. Admit cards have to be downloaded by the candidates from the Board’s website and all the information regarding the exam will be mentioned on the admit cards itself. When a candidate will download the admit card, a copy of the same will be emailed to them in PDF format on the registered email id.

The admit card will contain candidate’s name, his or her roll number, father’s name, category, sub-category, their photograph, signature, date of birth, the language they have chosen to answer in and also the name and address of examination centre allotted to them. Medical aspirants, answering NEET also need to check if their details mentioned on their admit cards are correct.

Steps to download the NEET 2018 admit card:

    • Go to the official website cbseneet.nic.in. or directly click on the link cbseneet.nic.in.
