JAMMU : Though belated, the police finally acted as per laid down procedures and show notorious Swarna the place she deserve since long for her trail of ghastly crimes which have become a cause of suffocation for sensible citizens in a residential colony inhabited by law abiding citizens.
On Monday, the police after decorating notorious Swarna as History-Sheeter send her to judicial custody in District Jail, Amphalla in connection with a case registered against her under stringent POCSO Act. Residents of Qasim Nagar appreciate the police move.

Worth to mention here that one Swarna wife of Ashok Kumar r/o 196, Qasim Nagar, New Bahu Fort Colony Jammu was arrested by police along with one Pooja and a pimp Shankar Singh in a raid which led to the bust of sex racket on March 8, 2023 operational at H.No 196, Qasim Nagar, Bahu Fort area. In the raid, the police team led by SHO Bagh e Bahu Police Station Inspector Surinder Raina successfully rescued a minor girl who reportedly was kept in illegal confinement after she was allegedly abducted by the accused woman from Katra.
The mother of the rescued girl told JK Global News “During wrongful confinement our daughter was drugged and coerced into prostitution by accused woman at her den of shame as well as in hotels where countless clients raped the girl child for nearly one and half months”.
Without fear of law enforcement agencies accused Swarna was running flesh trade in hassle free way for the last 2 decades at her den where coupled with drug sale and addiction she lured innocent girls into prostitution on the pretext of promising future, avers the aggrieved residents of Qasim Nagar. This shameless woman has spoiled the environment of the residential area and brought disrepute to colony. At last, the efforts of well meaning people of the colony yields results with the arrival of incumbent SHO Inspector Raina, says the residents of Qasim Nagar.
The way arrested POCSO accused Swarna was running sex-drug racket in the residential colony in hassle free manner shows she enjoys support of some black sheep in police department, further alleged residents of Qasim Nagar.
It would not be out of place to mention here that on March 8, when Swarna was brought to Police station Bagh e Bahu after arrest in a raid, while laughing at parents of victim girl, the former bragged that do whatever no one in police can put me behind bars. Still there are couple of black sheep posted at Bagh e Bahu police who are boosting the moral of accused woman, alleged our reliable sources, adding “In past, these black sheep had helped her out in shielding her acts of shame”.
Meanwhile, the mother of the rescued girl while interacting with JK Global News said “Couple of cops is trying to pressurize us for settling the matter. When asked who the official is, she while identifying the cop as one Sub Inspector Zubeer Mirza said “Yeh police wala humei eis mamlei kou rafa-dafa karnei ka dwaab bna raha hei aur kehta hei apney sarpanch kou beech mein dalou aur khatam karo eis mamlei kou”.
Even, the behavior of one constable Jameel Mirza is cause of worry for us, added the brother of victim girl. On Tuesday, we have apprised SHO about this pungent development and if situation demand we will approach the higher authorities in police as we are aware that demonic Swarna who spoiled our minor daughter boosts of close proximity with some cops posted at Bagh e Bahu Police station.
