    Separate CM for Jammu is only option to end discrimination with dogras: Mankotia

    Hiranagar:Expressing deep anguish over continuous discrimination, former MLA and NPP state president Balwant Singh Mankotia reiterated that separate Chief Minister for Jammu is not demand but need of the hour to end decade old discriminatory attitude of the ruling parties. He claimed that without formation of separate Jammu state, people of Jammu region would not receive justice and equal rights.

    Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan started by the NPP in Jammu region on 1st of March 2018 to make Dogra people aware about the discriminatory attitude of the present dispensation reached the Hiranagar constituency. During three day tour of Hiranagar constituency, former MLA and NPP state president Balwant Singh Mankotia addressed rallies at different panchayats which include Patiyadi, Naran, Chapaki, Hari Chak, Madeen, Kunda, Sajhi Morh, Chak Dhoolma, Chak Lalla, Rajpura, Sanoora, Khanpur, Baniyari, Rajbagh, Jasrota, Pandhal etc.

    While addressing these rallies, NPP state president Balwant Singh Mankotia claimed that since 1947, Dogra people used to launch agitations for their genuine demands from the government. In 1953 people launched agitation against two flags, two constitutions, in 2008 for Amarnath land row and now CBI demand for Rasana case, every time people launched struggle for their genuine rights and demands.

    Mankotia appealed the people of Jammu region to launch decisive agitation for separate Chief Minister so that in future no more agitation should be launched for more than two years. He reiterated that separate Chief Minister for Jammu region is not demand but need of the hour to end decade old discriminatory attitude of the successive regimes.

    Ruling BJP is hatching a conspiracy to lure the Dogra people by playing with their sentiments and people shall again bow down before the party and people have to remain vigilant from this conspiracy, warned Mankotia.

    Mankotia further appealed the people of Jammu region to fail the gimmick of BJP’s false slogans so that people will not again become victim of Jumla party. On this occasion Robin Sharma, Balbir Sing, Satish Sharma, Adv Ch. Sohan Singh, Jagdish Chander, Subash Singh were also addressed the gathering.
