Jammu: Failed to accomplish their ill plans, the suspended/attached Khilafwarzi officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation now allegedly indulge in dirty games to tarnish the image of JMC Commissioner which has ordered crackdown against the illegal constructions in Gandhi Nagar.
If sources are to believed, frustrated over the sealing of illegal constructed buildings one after another, the attached officials have started misinformation campaign to malign the image of newly posted khilafwarzi team in Gandhi Nagar area.
The recent sealing of buildings in Gandhi Nagar which were raised in violation of BOCA turn a nightmare for suspended khilafwarzi officials of JMC, alleged sources.
In Gandhi Nagar and surrounding areas, encouraging illegal commercial and residential constructions have become a source a hefty bribe for corrupt khilafwarzi officers, said an officer of JMC.
Now, on being exposed, some disgruntled suspended officials have launched smear campaign in connivance with a newspaper having handful of circulation and run by a retired gardener of information department, said another employee of JMC.
It wouldn’t not be out of place to mentioned here that in Gandhi Nagar newl posted khilafwarzi officer namely AEO Rakesh Puri and Inspector Kant Kumar Sharma under the supervision of Ashish Gupta, Jt Commissioner (A) has identified several illegal constructions which were covertly going on in connivance with the suspended officers.
