Government Degree College (GDC) Sidhra celebrated International Youth Day 2026 with enthusiasm through activities organised by the Red Ribbon Club and NSS volunteers. Students showcased their creativity and social awareness through poster-making, artwork and a flash mob highlighting youth empowerment, mental health and social change.
Principal Dr Farooq Ahmed appreciated the students and volunteers, describing youth as catalysts of positive change. The programme concluded with a pledge to promote community development, health awareness and responsible citizenship.
As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and celebrations marking 150 years of Vande Mataram, the college also organised a rangoli competition and patriotic cultural programme. Around 20 students participated.
