JAMMU: Holding high the flag of Black Mailing under the garb of activism, the self styled Chief Owner of Channi Himmat in connivance with his lawyer commrade is busy in hafta collection by invoking terror of demolition.
Notorious for bombing the staff of Jammu Municipal Corporation with wild and baseless allegations, he even brags in public that no one in Channi dare to construct anything without enjoying his ‘Ashirvaad’.
There are shops, shopping malls, clinics and hospitals running in the area for the convenience of general public, but this black mailer only hit the selected few for the reasons best known to him, said the residents.
Earlier notorious with brand name ‘SSS’, this eccentric activist now accomplished his ill conceived objectives through the medium of RTI and availing services of one 50 copies newspaper published from city, said one aggrieved resident of Trikuta Nagar.
Even at some occasion, this activist also impersonate himself as Khilafwarzi Inspector of JMC, said another resident who caught him when the former was clicking photo of his building in Channi Himmat.
There are big malls in Channi Himmat who turned their parking in basement as Godowns but owing to unholy alliance with them, this self styled activists never raised these serious violatons which have become source of inconvenience to the general public, said another agitated resident of the area.
His activism is purely based on black mailing the owners of commercial buildings and there is nothing good in his crusade which would benefit the public at large, said an owner of provision store in Channi Himmat.
He choose target in a well planned manner under which he spare those who oblige him while he launch damaging exercise against those who refused to meet his high end demands, said the agitated residents.
Questioning the honesty claim of this activist, officer of DIPR said ” Is not it’s an act of fraud when a newspaper prints only 50 copies and claim it’s circulation as 15000 in declaration and statement” It’s a case of 420 which needs to investigate through crime branch for initiating legal action under relevant sections of law”.
Indeed, the violators need to be punished but not the way this black mailer want by levelling baseless accusations against anyone, said another resident of Channi Himmat.
