Jammu: It’s sad affairs prevailing in Jammu Municipal Corporation. A vast under construction structure at 65 A plot Gandhinagar is a testimony to the dereliction of duty by khilafwarzi inspector Ramesh Wazir as well as AEO Ravinder Sharma allegedly for some pecuniary benefits.
As per the JMC act, the duo assigned the job of reporting any illegal constructions in their assigned areas with facts so as to initiate penalised proceedings against the violators. For executing this job they are drawing handsome salary from the JMC coffers.
But instead of initiating action as warranted under rules against the duo for deliberately remained blind towards illegal constructions at 65 A Gandhinagar, the Commissioner JMC as well as Jt commissioner (Admin) both join hands to protect the Ravinder and Ramesh Wazir for their unstoppable corrupt deeds.
Reliable sources disclosed that JMC commissioner Pankaj Magotra as well as Jt Commissioner (A) Pardeep Manhas both are protecting the Ramesh Wazir and AEO Ravinder Sharma for their wrong deeds for the reasons best known to them.
Sources also disclosed that Ravinder was long aspiring and aiming for posting in posh Gandhi Nagar area and he was finally bestowed with prize posting at the behest of Deputy Mayor who happens to be his younger sister.
Whereas Ramesh Wazir was transferred to Gandhinagar almost 7 months ago allegedly at the behest of Mayor JMC Chander Mohan Gupta for reasons best known to them.
