    Police sponsored Open TT Championships gets underway

    Jammu: Organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Police (City Police Station) in collaboration with J&K Table Tennis Association, the Jammu Open Table Tennis Championship started today at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
    Superintendent of Police, Vinod Kumar was chief guest, who declared open the championship. He also interacted with the participants in different age groups. Station House Officer (SHO) City, Vishal welcomed the chief guest in the presence of DySP City, Varun Jandyal.
    In all, 150 participants are there to compete in this competition. The first round of the competition on inaugural day officiated by the technical penal including Hanumant Sharma, Anuj Gupta, Ritvik Gupta and Vasu Dewan.

    The Results: (Preliminary Round): Cadet Boys (Under- 12): Yuvi bt Aman 2-0, Aarit bt Vashisht 2-1, Sourav bt Athayan 2-0, Vivek bt Gurshan 2-1, Tejas bt Archit 2-1, Madhav bt Amay 2-1. Sub Junior ( (Under- 14): Saksham bt Gurmehar 2-0, Adhyan bt Manit 2-0, Gurshan bt Vashist 2-0, Tejas bt Pratham 2-0, Archit bt Amit 2-1, Raagdeep bt Manik 2-0, Manya bt Rajeshwar 2-1, Arya Gupta bt Hyaan 2-0, Anirudh bt Yuvi 2-0.
    GIRLS: Under-17: Iknoor bt Kavya 2-0, Sanya bt Ridhi 2-0, Divyanshi bt Dhwani 2-1, Gouri bt Sameera 2-1, Vibhuti bt Hargun 2-0, Ragini bt Mahika 2-01, Mehak bt Shumbhima 2-1.
