JAMMU: Appreciating the role of traffic cops in playing applaudable role amidst pandemic, Shiv Kumar Sharma, SSP traffic Jammu has exhorted upon cops to perform their assigned duties upto the expected behaviours of disciplined belt force.
Addressing the large congregration of officers and cops on the occasion of immunity booster camp organised in assocation with Ayush department, Mr Sharma underlines the importance of maintaining discipline while performing duty among the law abiding fellow citizens.
He also as directed the Traffic police officials to ensure that officers like doctors and other health workers don’t face any problem in their movement at this critical juncture of pandemic and sensitized the cops to ensure smooth movement of the Corona warriors who are engaged in saving lives of the people affected by COVID-19.
Underlying the importance of community participation, Mr Sharma called upon the Traffic Police officers and officials to spread awareness among people and ensure that they obey traffic rules besides enlightened the citizens about corona safety measures like wearing face masks and keeping sanitizers with them.
