Jammu: In yet, another step towards its tireless efforts to keep aware and educate the citizens about traffic safety measures, the Additional Director General of Police (Traffic) T.Namgyal, today inaugurated the ‘Vehicle Release Section’ in District Police Line, Jammu.
The UT J&K Traffic Police Chief while appreciating this novel way of percolating Traffic awareness to the general public have underline the importance educating the violators about traffic rules with compassion and professionalism.
The idea behind the move is to provide ease to the people with awareness about common traffic rules while while they visited the DPL for release of their vehicles which were confiscated for different traffic related offences.
The lounge contains all the Traffic related awareness posters and slogans so that people get awareness about Traffic rules and Road Safety.
“Ours endeavours is to impart education to the general public in best possible way about Traffic rules and adhering to traffic etiquettes while driving their vehicles on road” asserts Shiv Kumar Sharma, SSP Traffic City, Jammu.
On the occasion, the ADGP Traffic also interacts with DTIs about the various problems being faced by them while discharging their assigned duties.
