    IMPACT: Police to realign verification format

    JAMMU: Reacting swiftly to the news item carried by JK Global News today in the morning, the police authorities has admitted faux pass in the ongoing tenant verification exercise  and assured to simplify the format of form for tenant verification purpose.

    In a video mesage, the IGP Jammu, Mukesh Singh tweets that the format of the verification forms has been taken note which is seeking more information than required.

    Instructions have been passed on to the SSP to modify the format of verification form and restrict it only for the purpose of “tenant verification”.

    While allaying apprehensions of the particular section of society, IGP Jammu further assured that the tenant verification was started for entire district and no way restricted to only few pockets of the city. The drive has been launched for the security and safety of the citizens.
